VX Racing ready to attack at Rockingham
Press release from VX Racing, 18 April 2007
Dramatic racing is expected at the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship’s (BTCC) next outing at Rockingham Motor Speedway this weekend, a circuit which possibly offers more overtaking opportunities than any other in the UK.
Tom Chilton: “I was 18-years-old when I last raced at Rockingham in 2003 and I did fairly well, finishing fourth in one race. We are currently leading the manufacturers championship even though we were still in the development stages at Brands Hatch. I think this weekend we will hit the nail on the head.” Fabrizio Giovanardi: “Brands Hatch showed the performance of the car and I think we were quick enough to win in race one if I hadn’t had the incident with the SEAT. We were very competitive in race three but it wasn’t meant to be my day for a victory. I am looking forward to Rockingham as I think we will be very strong.” Stuart Harris, VX Racing Brand Manager: “We had some fantastic racing at Rockingham last time we were there. Although all the teams have new cars, everyone is looking forward to it, as I am sure it’s going to be very close again.” |
