Born: 28 May 1980 Lives: Lincolnshire British

Became the first female driver in the BTCC since Annie Templeton in 2002, Fiona has a family connection with the series through her father Malcolm. Winning a competition to drive with rally star Gwyndaff Evans set Fiona onto a path which has taken in all manner of race and rally driving, including getting into the Guiness Book of Records. With mentors such as Paul O'Neill and Anthony Reid, she looks set to have a good future ahead of her.

Career highlights:

2006 Full season with Thurlby Motors backing at Techspeed. Mechanical problems prevented her starting race one at Brands, and she was the last of the finishers in race two. By the 3rd race though, she scored her first point of the year. Sadly she failed to add to her score at Mondello, and at Oulton she twice clipped the tyre barriers at Knickerbrook and put herself out of contention for points.

2005 Tested a SEAT Cupra car with Boardman Racing. One race in the MG Trophy series at Silverstone. Made her BTCC debut at Croft in the Techspeed entered ex-works Vauxhall Astra Coupe, unique in being bio-ethanol powered, and finished all three races. Picked up a point in race three for 10th place, and consistently ran ahead of the Lexus entries. Picked up more points at Mondello but was hampered by gearbox problems at Snetterton which ended her weekend halfway through race two. Struggled in the wet at Knockhill but picked up a couple of points in the final race. At Silverstone she refused to get drawn into the faux-battle for 10th place, and as a result came in 5th place in the second race, her best result of the year. Brands GP was tainted by a collision with Collard, but she scored a point in the third race to bring her total to 12, 16th in the championship.

2004 Varied campaign including Britcar (1st in class, 3rd overall), MG Trophy (6th overall), and setting the official world record for the most number of races in 24 hours
