A sucessful Fiesta racer, Andy had a brief flirtation with the BTCC in 2001, and entered the SEAT Cupra Championship in 2004 with not much joy. He returned for the final BTCC round of 2004 to gain experience prior to a planned full campaign in 2006.
Career highlights:
2005 BTCC with Nuts Racing entered by Daniels Motorsport. Entered in the final meeting at Brands Hatch, crashed in qualifying but benefited from the reverse grid rule to earn pole position for race three. Sadly a clutch problem meant he had to start from the pitlane.
