tbc
Lives: Bridlington
Career highlights (full rundown to follow soon):
2006 BTCC with Fast-Tec. Proctor has switched to the newer and more agile Honda Civic Type R, which sadly notched up three DNFs in the opening meeting.
2005 BTCC with Fast-Tec, driving an ex-Collard Vauxhall Astra Coupe. Limited pre-season testing was blighted by engine problems, but at Donington he put in a respectable performance from which he is hoping to improve as the year unfolds. Sat out Thruxton but returned for Brands Hatch to record a respectable performance. A steering failure saw him pitched out of the first Croft race in a frightening crash into the tyre barriers which destroyed the front of his car - although thankfully Mark was unharmed. The car was repaired in double-quick time and made it to Mondello, although Mark didn't get into the points. Knockhill was a weekend to remember though: Mark won the frantic battle for race three pole and kept it on the track in awful conditions to record two points finishes. Two more points at Silverstone brought his total up to 13, 15th in the championship - a respectable result given his limited budget. The Astra is now for sale, and Mark promises that he'll be back in 2006 in more competitive machinery.
2001 - 2004 Days of Thunder (ASCAR) racing.
