Best known for being Senior Race Instructor at Knockhill, Gordon had a one-off outing in the BTCC in 2002 before concentrating on the SEAT Cupra Cup.
Career highlights:
2006 Pre-season testing led to a full season drive with Team Halfords, and although the season started with mechanical problems at Brands Hatch, Gordon registered a 4th place in the third race of the day. Was excluded from the second race at Mondello (in which he finished 4th) as a result of a clash with Thompson. Made amends in Oulton Park by scoring his first BTCC win in round seven, following it up with a podium in the next race.
