He is responsible for masterminding the careers of such names as Ayrton Senna, Rubens Barrichello and Eddie Irvine with his involvement in F3 and a racing academy in the 80s and 90s. He moved to the BTCC with Ford in 1986, then teamed up with Honda before taking on the task of turning the MG Z-S into a race winner. The task wasn't aided when factory backing was withdrawn for 2004, but a switch to lighter Judd 4-cylinder engines has seen their drivers become regular winners. For 2005 the team employed the services of Rob Collard, who bagged two wins. |
